Inaugural Woodward Turf Farm’s Aloha Tournament & Luau Huge Success!
The first ever Woodward Turf Farms Aloha Tournament was a huge hit! Perfect weather greeted the eighty-eight (88) golfers who participated in the tournament on Saturday, August 10th. Teams of four (4) played a Captain’s Choice format. The focus of the tournament was to have fun and to raise money. The tournament and 50/50 Luau raffle raised over $4000.00 and all money will be put towards fairway improvements! “Our goal was to raise money, bring people together and to have a lot of fun and we certainly did that. We can’t wait for next year! We are so proud of everything the Club has accomplished in the last year and we want everyone to know about it” Scott & Cyndy Woodward remarked.

Palm trees, tiki torches, brightly colored flowers and other Hawaiian decorations transformed the pool into a tropical paradise last Saturday! Over 90 members and guests turned out to play games, listen to music, dance, eat great food and connect with one another. “The event was awesome! I haven’t seen this many people out here in a long time” commented Larry Lucas.
